L2TP/IPsec: get the pre-shared key from the dashboard. Your VPN username and password are on the account page. SoftEther uses TCP 992 and hub DEFAULT. The SE and SE1 OpenVPN profiles use UDP 1194; other country profiles use TCP 465 or 443.
Add and use the connection
- Open Settings → Network & Internet → VPN → Add a VPN connection.
- Select Windows (built-in). Name the connection SSTV and enter a server address above.
- Select L2TP/IPsec with pre-shared key. Enter the key from your configurations.
- Choose Username and password, enter your VPN credentials and save.
- Select SSTV → Connect. Wait for Connected.
- Select SSTV → Disconnect when finished.
For failed connections, check the VPN credentials, key and active access. If your network blocks L2TP/IPsec, use OpenVPN or SoftEther.
