Older Windows and clients
The old control panel included Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8 and 8.1, bundled configuration utilities and PPTP. Those are not maintained setup methods here. Use a supported operating system and a client from its official publisher.
Windows 10's standard support ended on 14 October 2025. Check whether your installation receives security updates. Microsoft explains the support transition.

Android and Apple
A VPN menu does not prove that the required protocol or current client is available. Follow Android, iPhone/iPad or macOS, and check the publisher's supported OS versions. Do not switch to PPTP or disable certificate verification to keep an obsolete client working.
Devices without VPN apps
Use Windows sharing or SmartDNS, according to your device's capabilities.
Current OpenVPN downloads cover Sweden and its alternative only. Old country selectors and streaming-specific server claims do not describe these downloads. Find current connection settings in your configurations.
