Set up SSTV on Android using an OpenVPN profile
Download availability
OpenVPN downloads are enabled after the server pools have been verified. If a link reports that downloads are unavailable, contact support in the dashboard or choose another connection method your device supports. Do not reuse old profiles instead.
Use OpenVPN on Android. The old instructions for built-in L2TP do not apply to every current Android device.
Install and import
- Install OpenVPN Connect from Google Play using the Android link on the official download page.
- Download the Sweden profile or Sweden alternative profile.
- Add a profile with Upload File in OpenVPN Connect. Choose the downloaded .ovpn file and confirm.
- Enter your VPN username and password from the dashboard. These can differ from your website sign-in details.
- Connect, approve Android's VPN request and wait for a connected status.
Daily use
Connect before opening your application. Disconnect with the profile switch when finished. Stop another VPN app before using SSTV.
If the file is missing, check that it ends in .ovpn, not .txt, and is saved on the device. For authentication errors, check the VPN credentials and active access. For timeouts, finish Wi-Fi sign-in and try another network that allows UDP 1194.
SSTV supplies a file, not an OpenVPN Access Server login portal. Do not enter the hostname into URL import. Keep certificate checks intact.
