Windows 10 and 11
Set up SSTV Proxy in Windows with an automatic configuration script
Before you begin
Register from the same public IPv4 connection as the target device. Pause VPNs, proxies and IP-hiding services such as iCloud Private Relay before registering, and keep them paused while automatic IP updates run. A browser on mobile data or another connection registers a different address.
IP registration requires active SSTV access and a public IPv4 address. If the update is unavailable or rejected, check these prerequisites before changing device settings.
Connect to the network you will use for streaming. Sign in to your dashboard and use the IP update button under Proxy. Wait for confirmation; signing in alone does not register the address.
The PAC file https://sstv.se/se.pac selects which domains use SSTV. Other websites keep your normal connection. The setting applies only to applications that use it and does not replace a VPN.
Configure
- Open Settings → Network & internet → Proxy.
- Under Automatic proxy setup, open Set up beside Use setup script. On Windows 10 the switch may appear directly on the page.
- Turn Use setup script on and enter
https://sstv.se/se.pacas the script address. - Save. Leave the separate manual proxy setting off unless your network administrator requires it.
Chrome and Edge normally follow this setting. Apps with their own proxy settings may not. Record any existing work or school proxy settings before changing them.
Check and troubleshoot
Close and reopen the browser or app. Try the service you want to use and follow check your connection if needed. A general IP-check website can still show your normal address because the PAC file sends only selected domains through the proxy.
Update the Proxy address again after changing networks or when your provider changes your IP. Use the IP update button in the dashboard.
Turn it off
Turn Use setup script off and save. Restore any previous workplace or school settings.
